A high quality Thermoplastic Road Marking powder conforming to BS 3262 consisting of Aliphatic Hydrocarbon Resin plasticized with mineral oil, heat stable pigment, 20% reflectorized pre mixed glass beads, calcium carbonate extenders and extra white calcite aggregates. ASPHALT LINEOLUX white and yellow are easy to melt and apply on all asphalt and concrete surfaces using screed, extrusion machines to form a highly durable marking with excellent adhesion, colour fastness, skid resistance and light reflectivity.

Each bag of Thermoplastic material will be clearly and indelibly marked with the following information.
a) The name and identification of manufacturer - ASPHALT LINEOLUX PRIVATE LIMITED.
b) Batch number
c) Date of manufacture
d) Colour - White / Yellow
e) Max heating and application temperature along with instructions.
12 months form the date of manufacture. (Material should be stored in a cool and dry place away from moisture).
Manufacturers test certificate shall be forwarded for compliance of the material to the specification required.
The Thermoplastic material shall be homogeneously composed of aggregates, pigment, resin and glass reflector zing spheres. The material shall be free from all skins, dirt and foreign objects and shall comply with requirements in the table given below.

Shall comprize of plastized synthetic hydrocarbon resin, plasticized natural resin or rosin.
White pigment material shall either consist of Titanium Di-oxide Type A ( Anatase ) or Type R ( Rutile ). The Lead Chromate content of road marking material shall not exceed 5% by mass.
Light colored silica sand, calcite, quartz or calcinated flint.
Solid Glass Beads to be incorporated in the material prior to application to the road surface shall comply with Class A requirements of BS 6088. Solid Glass Beads for additional surface reflectorization shall comply with Class B - BS Drop On requirements of BS 6088.
Greater than 95°C (Ring & Ball method) for hot tropical climate, when tested in occordance with Appendix B of the BS 3262 : 1989.
Luminance
The Luminance factor for White marking material sample after melting for use shall not be less than 65 while for the Yellow material shall not be less than 50 when tested in accordance with appendix F of the BS 3262 : 1989.
Material sampled as delivered or after re-melting for use shall not be less than 65 for White and 45 for Yellow when tested with appendix G of BS 3262 : 1989.
The flow resistance measured as a mean jump, of White or Yellow marking material sampled as delivered or after re-melting for use shall not be more than 25% when tested in accordance with appendix H of BS 3262 : 1989.
When tested in accordance with appendix J of the BS 3262 : 1989, the skid resistance of the White or Yellow marking material sampled as delivered or after re-melting shall not be less than 45.
The flash point of white or yellow markings materials shall not be less than 235°C (Pensky marten open cup method).
The density of White or Yellow marking material when tested as sampled shall not be greater than 2.15g/cc.
